The Cultured Pickle Shop – A Feast of Fermentation – The Photos

When one thinks of seasonal foods, typically it is the availability of fresh foods that comes to mind. At the Cultured Pickle Shop in Berkeley, California, I learned that foods don’t need to be fresh to be seasonal. While the actual availability of the final product may be delayed compared to when it was fresh, it still follows a seasonal rhythm. The key is that not all products are available throughout the year. Here is a slide show from my Flick’r photoset with all of my still photos from this mouth-watering visit.

Please see here, here, here and here for my four part video series on Cultured.
