Sunday Photo – Mid-Summer

BU4A6374Summer is a feast for all the senses. The bounty from the earth includes plenty that is delicious and nutritious, but the soul is also fed by the beauty experienced by the rest of the senses too, from the vibrant colors of mid-summer lilies at  The Shelburne Museum just outside of Burlington, Vermont to the scents of fresh foods and flowers to the booming sounds of a summer thunderstorm and the feel of the sun’s warmth on the skin or the cooling effect of a thunderstorm’s raindrops. It all helps one feel truly alive.
