Sunday Photo – Tis the Season -Sugaring Season

Full of Sap - 2004-03-11 at 17-07-23

The maple sap is running up here in northeastern New York. The nights are still chilly, but the days are getting warmer. Spring is coming. My favorite is Grade B, a bit darker and fuller of flavor than the more delicate Grade A.

BTW, another sign of the coming spring – Did you remember to put your clocks ahead? It’s Daylight Savings Time!

Too bad you don’t own a mini! This Saturday is our Flapjacks mini touring day in Washington County–look out for the mini column zipping to and fro around the maple farms. Yummiest tour of the capital district mini club!
