It’s Berry Season at Gardenworks

The peak of the local raspberry season is right now and there are none better than at Gardenworks Farm in Salem, New York, literally just up the road from The Battenkill Creamery.

This Tuesday, August 30th,  Slow Food Saratoga Region and Gardenworks are teaming up for berry picking, a farm tour from owner Meg Sutherland and a pot luck dinner followed by dessert of vanilla ice cream topped with fresh berries courtesy of Battenkill Creamery. There is no charge to join the event, but a spot must be reserved through Brown Paper Tickets.
