A Conversation with Danny Meyer

While attending the recent Big Apple Barbecue Block Party I recently had the opportunity to chat with Danny Meyer, the head of the Union Square Hospitality Group based in NYC, but now branching out beyond Gotham. There isn’t a restaurateur in the business more widely and well respected than the classy Meyer, whose company runs successful restaurants known for the quality if their service as well as their food. The company runs the gamut from the most casual stadium concessions to hamburgers to barbecue to museum dining to Italian to haute cuisine and manages to do it all with grace and finesse. In this brief video, Meyer shares a few words on where the Union Square Hospitality Group is today and what is coming up down the road.
