Japan – A Regret and a Hope

I have had a lifelong fascination with Japan: the country, its culture, its history and its food. Right now one of my greatest regrets in life is not having visited this amazing nation before its recent catastrophe and its aftermath, but I have faith in the ultimate recovery of Japan and the resilience of the Japanese People. I expect that at some point in the not too distant future the sun will once again rise over this land of evanescence and be even brighter than before. I am not getting any younger, but I hope yet to experience the cultural bounty and beauty of this great country.

You’ve been all over the world- I’m surprised you’ve never been to Japan! Please let me know when you’d like to go, and we’ll plan a great trip. I would be honored to be your host and guide.

It was just never the right time or the right situation. That is the problem with waiting and why I believe one should do what one can when one can. Thank you Tomo.
