At the Market – July 8, 2009


I bought 5 pints of currants yesterday from Scotch Ridge Berry Farm at the Saratoga Farmers market. My wife will make a currant jam with these. What do you do with currants?

    I bought some black currants and am looking for ideas on how to use them, too. Aside from jam, I’m thinking of a currant and chipotle sauce.
